Located in Artesia, New Mexico, the PY Foundation is a private family foundation primarily dedicated to place-based funding in Artesia, Eddy County, and neighboring rural communities.
PY Foundation seeks to initiate positive transformation in Artesia, NM through strategic investments in Education, Health & Human Services, Art & Culture, and Community Development. Through unwavering support in these key sectors, the foundation aims to uplift Artesia and enhance the well-being of our state's diverse landscapes and communities.
Where & How We Fund
Geographic Focus Area: Artesia, NM, Eddy County
Grants will exclusively be awarded to organizations meeting the tax-exempt criteria outlined in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a place-based funding foundation, the PY Foundation focuses its support within Artesia, Eddy County, and the Pecos Valley communities of Dexter, Hagerman, and Lake Arthur.
Grants are not made to organizations outside the Foundation’s geographic focus. To streamline the proposal process, we encourage potential grantees to reach out directly to the Foundation or submit a letter of inquiry here.
Grants are not made for the following purposes:
Political Organizations: Grants are not made to political campaigns, events, or organizations whose purpose is to promote political candidates;
Lobbying: Grants are not made for lobbying;
Individuals: Neither grants nor loans are made directly to, or for, individuals
